CartPops Pro licenses can be used on development and staging domains without counting toward your site activation limit. Your domain has to match one of the patterns below.

## Top-level domains treated as dev or staging

*.local
*.staging
*.example
*.invalid
*.myftpupload.com (GoDaddy)
*.cloudwaysapps.com (Cloudways)
*.ngrok.io (tunneling)

## Subdomains treated as dev or staging

local.*
dev.*
test.*
staging.*
stagingN.* (SiteGround; N is an unsigned integer)
*.staging.wpengine.com (WP Engine)
dev-*.pantheonsite.io (Pantheon)
test-*.pantheonsite.io (Pantheon)
staging-*.kinsta.com (Kinsta)

A domain of `localhost`, with any port, is also treated as local.

## My domain is not on the list

If your domain is not listed and you cannot change it, contact CartPops support and we will see what can be done.
