The **Advanced** page holds settings that affect the whole plugin. Most stores never need to change them, but they are useful when you want to troubleshoot, restyle or move your setup.

## Where to find it

In wp-admin, go to **WooCommerce** > **CartPops** > **Advanced**. The page has two tabs:

- **General** has everything on this page.
- **Integrations** covers theme and Mini Cart connections. See [Integrations](/guides/integrations).

## Enable CartPops

**Enable CartPops** turns off all CartPops features on the front of your store when it is off. The drawer, the launchers, the Cart Drawer and Cart Launcher blocks and the shortcodes all stop showing. Your settings are kept. Switch it back on to bring everything back.

This is a quick way to check whether a problem on your site comes from CartPops.

## Open drawer on

Choose whether the drawer opens when a shopper adds a product (**Add to cart**) or only when they click a launcher (**Launcher click only**). See [How to disable the add-to-cart trigger](/guides/how-to-disable-trigger).

## Add to cart on product pages without reloading

On a classic theme, the add to cart button on a product page normally reloads the page. With this setting on (the default), CartPops adds the product in the background instead, so the shopper stays on the page. The drawer then opens if **Open drawer on** is set to **Add to cart**. WooCommerce's messages, such as "Please choose product options" or an out of stock warning, show at the top of the product page.

The page still reloads for products with a file upload field, external and grouped products, and when WooCommerce is set to redirect to the cart after adding. Turn this off if your theme or another plugin already handles product page add to cart, or if you prefer the reload.

## Powered by CartPops

**Show the CartPops partner link** adds a small CartPops referral link to the drawer footer. It is off by default, and you choose whether to turn it on. When you do, enter your **Partner code**, a whole number of up to 20 digits. The link stays hidden until you save a valid code.

## WooCommerce Mini Cart

**Integration mode** controls how CartPops works with the WooCommerce Mini-Cart block. **Replace** makes the CartPops drawer open instead of the Mini Cart panel. **Standalone** lets both work on their own. See [Integrations](/guides/integrations).

## Custom CSS

Add your own styles to the **Additional CSS** field. CartPops loads them after its own styles, so your rules can override them. All CartPops elements use the `.cpops-` class prefix. For example:

```css
.cpops-drawer__title {
	font-size: 1.25rem;
}
```

Before you write rules, check the class names with your browser's inspector. If you upgraded from V1, your V1 custom CSS was carried over to this field.

For colors, radius and dark mode, use the settings on the **Design** tab first. See [Drawer design](/guides/drawer-design).

## Performance

**Refresh cart data on page load** asks WooCommerce for fresh cart data on every page load. Turn it on only if cached pages show an out-of-date cart, for example a stale item count after a shopper adds a product. It adds one extra request per page, so leave it off otherwise. For caching problems, see [Caching](/troubleshooting/caching).

## Hide the launcher on certain pages

To keep the floating launcher off some pages, such as checkout, use **Hide launcher on pages** on the **Launcher** page. See [Cart launcher](/guides/launcher). It applies to the floating launcher only. Other launchers and the drawer itself are unaffected.

## Import and export

Under **Import / Export**:

- **Export Settings** downloads your CartPops settings as a JSON file, named `cartpops-settings-` followed by the date.
- **Import Settings** reads a JSON file and applies it. Reload the page afterward to see the changes.

Use this to back up your setup before big changes, or to copy your setup from a staging site to your live store.

:::tip
Products and pages are stored by ID. After you import settings from another site, check the places where you picked products, such as custom recommendations, bundles, the Smart Bar spotlight and free gifts, and the pages you hid the launcher on. IDs on the new site can point to different items.

## Reset

Under **Reset**, **Reset all settings to defaults** puts every CartPops setting back to its starting value. CartPops asks you to confirm with **Yes, reset everything** first. Export your settings first if you might want them back.

With CartPops Pro, this section also has **Reset analytics data**, which deletes your analytics history. See [Analytics](/guides/analytics).
