Updates

How CartPops updates arrive in WordPress, and what to do before you update.

Updates appear on the Plugins and Dashboard > Updates screens in WordPress. When one is available, click Update now.

• CartPops Free updates come from WordPress.org.
• CartPops Pro updates come through Freemius. Your license must be active on the site to receive them.

If a Pro license is not available, Pro features pause, but your saved settings are kept.

Before you update

1. Back up your database and your plugin files.
2. Try the update on a staging copy of your store if you can, especially if you use custom CSS or custom code that targets the drawer.
3. Read the changelog for what changed.
